Our garments are made to flatter and accentuate the body, therefore we try to ensure that our briefs and strings don’t ride up to your waist or dig into your sides and our bras are cut to maximise your shape.

When trying on a bra we recommend you try it on the loosest or middle hook as once you have worn and washed it a few times it is likely to get looser and less supportive – the horizontal strap or underband of the bra is one of the most important areas of fit for a bra as it supports your bust from the chest wall, therefore if it is firm the bra will be more supportive.
*Your breasts should be fully encased in the cup with no bulging or double-breastedness.
* Straps should be firm but not dig in; if they are too tight the back of the bra may ride up (thus making it less supportive as the pivotal support of the underband is lost).
* The wires of your bra should lie flat against the body, if there is a gap then the chances are you are wearing a bra cup too small, if they are digging in at the front then it is possible you are wearing a band or cup size too big.
We hope this is helpful, if you have any enquiries regarding this or anything else please email us at
info@lascivious.co.ukand we will do ourbest to help you!
Please hand wash your lingerie cool in gentle hand wash liquid or a neutral shampoo. Wash dark, light and coloured fabrics separately.
Please hand wash hoisery separately (as bra hooks and fastenings can catch) and allow to drip dry over a bath or shower. We DO NOT replace or refund machine washed products.
We recommend that you dry clean our kimonos and corsetry, however we cannot accept any responsibilty for damage incurred during cleaning to any of our garments.
Many thanks!
We are consistently being told we are wearing the wrong size bra in the media (something like 70% of us) but in all truthfulness it can be difficult to pin-point an individual to one size. Bra size can change dependant on hormonal changes, weight gain or loss and also what brand of lingerie is being worn (different brands offer different fit, just like clothing). You are unlikely to buy a pair of shoes without first trying them on and the same rule applies with lingerie. We recommend that you try on lots of bras and see what looks and feels right for you as well as assess the lingerie you already own and look at the styles you find most comfortable and flattering – for example you may find a balcony shape (designed to support the breasts from underneath and push upwards) accentuates your bust the best or alternatively you may feel the most comfortable in a plunge bra (designed to push the breasts together) – doing this will give you an idea of shapes to look for in the future that flatter you.
Obviously it helps to have a starting point from which to base your size so please refer to the information below to measure yourself (we recommend that you re-measure yourself regularly).

Firstly measure your underbust, ensuring you hold the tape measure firmly (and straight) around the body.
Secondly measure over the fullest part of your breasts (over the nipples and around the back), holding the tape measure loosely – but ensuring it is straight all the way around the body (it may be helpful to get someone else to measure you so they can see the tape measure clearly).
